Eseigbe Commends Okpebholo's London Diaspora Engagement, Hails Transformational Leadership in Edo

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Flag Bearer for the House of Representatives, Esan Central, Esan West and Igueben Federal Constituency, Sir Lucky Eseigbe Esq., has commended Edo State Governor, , for what he described as a purposeful and inspiring engagement with Edo indigenes in the diaspora during the EDO SHINE Beyond Borders Town Hall held in London.
Eseigbe said the Governor’s message to Edo sons and daughters abroad was timely, visionary and reflective of an administration that understands the importance of global partnerships in accelerating sustainable development. According to him, the town hall meeting provided a strategic platform to showcase the remarkable progress being recorded in Edo State while strengthening the bond between the government and the diaspora community.
He noted that Governor Okpebholo’s invitation to Edo professionals, entrepreneurs and investors abroad to contribute through investment, innovation and knowledge transfer demonstrates inclusive leadership and a commitment to harnessing the collective strengths of Edo people, irrespective of where they reside.
The APC House of Representatives flag bearer observed that, in less than two years in office, the Okpebholo administration has continued to lay a solid foundation for a new Edo through deliberate investments in infrastructure, security, education, healthcare, agriculture and economic development under the SHINE Agenda.
Eseigbe stated that the visible improvements across the state are clear indicators of a government focused on delivering practical results rather than empty promises. He added that ongoing road construction and rehabilitation, renewed investments in public institutions, improved security initiatives, enhanced support for local government development, and policies aimed at creating an enabling environment for businesses have continued to restore public confidence in governance.
He further applauded Governor Okpebholo for acknowledging the impact of the economic reforms of President , noting that the synergy between the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the Edo State SHINE Agenda is opening new opportunities for growth, investment and prosperity.
According to Eseigbe, the Governor’s appeal for Edo people in the diaspora to assess his administration based on measurable performance rather than political rhetoric reflects transparency, accountability and confidence in the achievements already recorded.
He expressed optimism that continued collaboration between the state government and the Edo diaspora would attract greater investments, create employment opportunities, stimulate innovation and position Edo State as one of Nigeria’s leading destinations for economic growth and development.
Eseigbe reaffirmed his unwavering support for Governor Okpebholo’s developmental vision and urged Edo people at home and abroad to remain united in advancing the shared aspiration of building a safer, stronger and more prosperous Edo State for present and future generations.
