
Eseigbe Solidarity Movement Congratulates Edo APC on Successful Inauguration
BENIN CITY — The Eseigbe Solidarity Movement has congratulated the Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the successful inauguration of its Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections.
In a statement signed by the Director-General, Domestic Affairs of the movement, Hon. Idalu Unugbe, popularly known as SONATA, and made available to the public through the Eseigbe Media Team, the group described the inauguration as an important step in the party’s preparations for the forthcoming elections.
The movement expressed confidence in the calibre and experience of the men and women appointed to the campaign council, noting that the structure brings together party leaders and stakeholders with the responsibility of coordinating the APC’s engagement across the state.
It commended Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo, who chairs the council, for placing emphasis on grassroots mobilisation and direct engagement with communities, particularly his charge to members to take the party’s message to wards and polling units across Edo State.
The group also acknowledged the roles of Senator Adams Oshiomhole and Edo APC Chairman, Jarrett Tenebe, as Co-Chairmen, and Senator Matthew Urhoghide as Director-General, alongside other members of the campaign council.
The Eseigbe Solidarity Movement reaffirmed its continued support for the APC-led administration in Edo State and expressed its commitment to supporting efforts that strengthen grassroots participation and effective communication between the party and the people.
The movement wished the campaign council a successful tenure as it begins the task of coordinating the APC’s activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
