ESEIGBE INAUGURATES CAMPAIGN COUNCIL AHEAD OF 2027 GENERAL ELECTIONS

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Esan Central, Esan West and Igueben Federal Constituency, Sir Lucky Eseigbe Esq., has inaugurated his campaign council to commence full-scale mobilisation and grassroots engagement across the three Local Government Areas.

The campaign council, comprising dedicated party members and supporters drawn from Esan Central, Esan West and Igueben Local Government Areas, was formally constituted and inaugurated with a clear mandate to coordinate the campaign, strengthen grassroots mobilisation and work towards securing victory for the APC and its candidates in the forthcoming elections.

Speaking to the coordinators and members of the campaign council, Sir Lucky Eseigbe warmly welcomed them and expressed appreciation for accepting the responsibility to work with him towards achieving the collective aspirations of the people. He urged members to approach the assignment with dedication, unity and a strong sense of responsibility, stressing that the campaign must be centred on the people and their expectations for effective representation.

Eseigbe recalled his years of service and legislative experience at the National Assembly, spanning the administrations of Hon. Patrick Ikhariale, Rt. Hon. Chief Joe Edionwele and Senator Monday Okpebholo. He explained that his decision to seek election to the National Assembly is driven by a desire to lift the burdens of the people and make meaningful impact through the provision of basic amenities and development projects across communities in the Federal Constituency.

He reaffirmed his commitment to prioritising the welfare of the people and building enduring legacies that would positively impact present and future generations. He therefore charged the campaign council to work as a united team, intensify grassroots mobilisation and ensure that the APC records a resounding victory at the polls.

“I urge you all to work as a team. We must take our message to every ward, every community and every household. Our responsibility is not only to win the election but to build a strong connection with the people and assure them that their concerns will receive the attention they deserve,” Eseigbe said.

The APC candidate further disclosed that, upon election to the National Assembly, he would introduce periodic Needs Assessment Summits across the constituency to identify the specific challenges and development priorities of individual communities.

According to him, such an approach would enable effective representation by ensuring that the actual needs of the people are properly documented, articulated and taken to the National Assembly for appropriate intervention.

He maintained that representation must go beyond speeches and promises, noting that the ultimate objective should be to translate the needs of the people into tangible projects, opportunities and improved living conditions.

Earlier, the campaign council was formally constituted and inaugurated by Sir Lucky Eseigbe, who congratulated the members on their appointments and thanked them for accepting the responsibility. He expressed confidence in their capacity to deliver, urging them to remain committed, coordinated and focused as the campaign progresses.
